Erasmuspark Residence
RESIDENTIAL
50 M2
AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS
We have recently renovated this beautiful, compact 1940s apartment next to Amsterdam's Erasmuspark into a timeless, home while maintaining its original character. Two walls of the original structure were partially removed to make the best use of space and create a modern, open layout.
True to Studio &Space's signature style, a natural palette creates a tranquil but warm backdrop that highlights the building's original features —such as a fire place in Emperador marble and ornate panelling.
The enlarged kitchen area features a solid oak volume and is paired with Ceppo di Gre natural stone, creating warmth and tactiliy.

The window lined living and dining room are flooded with natural light and tied together by soft lime painted walls. A curated selection of vintage and new modernist furnishings is combined with considered pieces of art to obtain a unique and eclectic style.
The master bedroom continues the lime paint palette, and has a calm, almost monastic atmosphere.
Warmth comes from soft bed linen and vintage wooden furnishings. The compact bathroom is stripped back to its essentials and promotes moments of self-care and relaxation. Luxurious Ceppo di Gre natural stone is combined with a vanity in solid oak and finished with matt black taps and fixtures. Playing again with that tension between warmth and minimalism.
